In 2011, she graduated from Street Peter"s Girls School. Olympia now attends the University of Adelaide, South Australia. If she"s not rowing, she can be found studying or chatting with friends.
In July 2011 Olympia competed at the u/23 World Championships to come 4th in the A Final in the pair.
In 2010 in her 1st year of international competition Aldersey won a bronze medal at the Junior Worlds and Silver at the Youth Olympics with fellow South Australian Emma Basher. Aldersey currently rows for Adelaide Rowing Club She competed in the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival where she won gold in the women"s Coxless Pair and Eight and Silver in the Coxless Four.
