Omori Chisetsu was a reporter of the Osaka Asahi Shimbun and then Osaka Mainichi. Joined Shochiku Theater Company and devotee himself to play writing. He wrote mainly for Ganjiro Nakamura, noted Kabuki actor in Osaka. Wrote altogether 150 plays including "Onatsu-Seijiro,'' "Akanezome"and "The Lake of Love."
