Omori Harutoyo graduated from Tokyo Medical College (1879).
Career
Omori Harutoyo became famous (1885), when he performed a Caesarean section together with Yoichi Ikeda, a gynecologist. Studied in Europe (1895-1896). When the Fukuoka Medical College, predecessor of the Medical Department, Kyushu University, was established (1903), he was appointed its first president and director of its attached hospital.
