Orhan Peker

Background

He was born in 1926 in Trabzon, Turkey.

Education

He went to Austria High School in Istanbul after he completed his Elementary School education in Trabzon. He was educated in Fine Arts Academy in Bedri Rahrni Eyubogiu Studio.

Career

In 1951, Peker participated for the first time in State Painting and Sculpture Exhibition. He held his personal exhibition in 1953. He used all the opportunities of tachism and paint in design, drawing and color paintings, mainly in dealt with horses, carriages, still lifes, and birds.

Achievements

• He won the first prize in State Painting and Sculpture Exhibition in 1965.
