Otsuka Kusuo

Background

Otsuka Kusuo was born in 1875. She was the eldest daughter of Masao Otsuka.

Education

She studied waka poetry under Nobutsuna Sasaki and paintings from Gaho Hashimoto.

Career

Later she took to writing novels and achieved considerable fame.
