Although he was of low birth he became powerful in the clan and was favored by Lord Yoshinori Maeda.
Connections
Denzo had amorous relations with Kaburaki a concubine of his lord, and had a son by her. He secretly killed Yoshinori and his heir in order to make his own son Lord of Kaga. The scheme was brought to light and Denzo and his henchmen were executed. The incident is celebrated as the Kaga Family Trouble.
