Bendix was a pupil of A. Ree and Gade, also of Kullak (Berlin) and Liszt (Weimar).

Career

Bendix was a pianoforte teacher in Copenhagen Conservatoire and oboist in theatre-orchestra. In 1880, settled in Boston, Massachusetts, he worked as a teacher of pianoforte in the New England Conservatoire.

Achievements

Otto Bendix gave very successful concerts in Europe and America, and published some pieces for pianoforte, etc.
