Career
He volunteered in June 1918 for Great War services held ready for the call but not called. Also, he served in fire brigade in Shanghai for 3 years and also in Tientsin for 2 years. Volunteer corps service - Shanghai 5 years.
He was the founder, proprietor, and Editor of 'North China Commerce”. Also, he was the acting Editor of “Nortli China Star,” July/December 1919.
Editor “China Critic” 1919-1920 and Proprietor of “ North China Press ’’ in 1919-1920.
