Career
He went on to play for Scarborough and Guisborough Town before retiring. He currently coaches youngsters in the Middlesbrough area. Middlesbrough fans used to sing "He"s fat, he"s round, he"s worth a million pounds, Owen McGee! Owen McGee!", in appreciation for the hometown player.
He is now a Database Administrator in North Yorkshire.
