Career
He was a right-handed batsman and slow left-arm bowler who played for Tripura. Das Gupta made a single first-class appearance for the team, during the 1989-1990 season, against Assam. From the tailend, he scored a duck in the only innings in which he batted.
Das Gupta bowled two overs in the match, conceding 11 runs.
