Career
She competed in her first competition in 1977. She continued competitive surfing up until 1999. She now runs a surf school on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia.
She was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1995.
There is a Sydney Ferry HarbourCat named after Burridge.
