Career
Kalita"s bestselling book in the Assamese language is "Dui Nambari Dhan Ghatar Sat Ta Upay Aru Ata Tabij". His short story, essays and poem were published in various Assamese magazines. Kalita is also a pioneer stevia cultivator in Northeast India.
Kalita was born in the Nalbari District in Assam.
He was educated mostly at Rangia, a small town. After Graduation he took an astrology course and training programs on organic cultivation and stevia cultivation.
Kalita married Dharitri Borah Kalita in 2004.
