Pantaléon was born in 1799, in Paris, France.

Education

Pantaléon Battu used to be a pupil of the Conservatory (R. Kreutzer).

Career

Until 1830 he belonged to the orchestra of the Opera and the court. In 1846 he used to be a 2nd chef d'orchestre at the Opera. Retired in 1859.­

Achievements

• Published two violin concertos, three duos concertants for two violins, ''theme varie" for violin with orchestra, romances for violin with piano forte.
