1905 graduate Stroganov College as artist in metal. 191 1 graduate Architecture Department, Moscow College of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
1914 designed apartment house in Italian Renaissance style in Moscow’s Ulanskiy Lane, and grandstand of Moscow Race course. From 1918 helped compile Moscow reconstruction plans with Moscow Planning Workshops, Moscow City Soviet. Together with I. Zholtovskiy designed cattle-breeding complex at 1923 All-Russian Agric Exhibition.
1929-1935 designed the newspaper Pravda building and 1931-1934 the Fertilizer Research Institute building on Sadovo-Kudrinskaya Street in Moscow. 1934 compiled general city plan of Chirchik. Compiled plans for reconstruction and development of various Moscow rayons (Frunze and Dorogomilov Embankments, part of Boulevard Ring).
1941 designed apartment-block on Dorogomilov Embankment, et cetera 1918-1944 teaching work. Professor at a number of specialized higher educational institutions (Chair of Architectural Planning).
