Chair professor Feng Chia University, Taichung, Taiwan, since 2001, president Taiwan, since 2007. Second lieutenant Chinese Air Force, 1971-1973.

Member Public Enterprises' Rates Advisory Committee, Executive Yuan, Taiwan, since 1991. Member of Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences, Business Administration Association of Republic of China (vice president since 1995), Chinese Institute Decision Sciences (president since 2001).
