Achievements include explanation of observed trends in two-bond proton-C-13 coupling constants on the basis of semiempirical calculations;discovery of the groups of copper binding sites of hemoglobin and human serum albumin; explanation of the effects of exogenous carbon substrate dependence on creatine kinase reaction in perfused hearts.
