Parvin Akbarov was born in the village of Karabagli, located in the Salyan region, on August 17, 1982.

Between 2001 and 2007, he pursued a specialization in rehabilitation and physiotherapy at Tehran University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2021, he successfully completed his PhD in osteopathic clinical rehabilitation at the National University of Medical Sciences in Spain. Presently, he is actively engaged in doctoral studies focused on rehabilitation and physiotherapy at Gazi University.
Since 2008, Parvin Akbarov has served as the head of the department at Tusi Memorial Clinic, and from 2011 onwards, he has held the position of chairman of the Medical and Anti-Doping Committee of the National Karate Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Notably, he assumed the role of medical director at the Ganja Rehabilitation Center from 2015 to 2017, and later, he led the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the Republican Diagnostic Center from 2017 to 2021. Beginning in 2018, he took on the role of department head at Ganja International Hospital, and from 2020, he has also been overseeing the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the Korean Oriental Medicine Clinic.
In 2021, he joined Azerbaijan Medical University as a teacher. Subsequently, in the years 2022-2023, he served as the director of the Scientific-Research Medical Rehabilitation Institute.
January 2023 marked a significant development in his career as he was appointed as an advisor to the Executive Director of Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB). Simultaneously, he was elected as a member of the board of directors of Yeni Klinika.
Parvin Akbarov has demonstrated a diverse and accomplished career, contributing significantly to the fields of medicine, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy.
