Pat Hughes

Career

A former minor captain, Hughes started his senior career by winning the Manitoba of the Match award on his first championship start in New York in May 2012. Hughes plays his club football with Geevagh Gaelic Athletic Association Club and was part of their intermediate winning side in 2009. Hughes represented Connacht Rugby at U20 level in the 2010 inter-provincial series.

Achievements

• Hughes won a Trench Cup with Saint Pats College Drumcondra in 2011 and went on to study in UUJ where he contest a Sigerson Cup in the sky blue of Jordanstown. Hughes, who lined out at fly half won a Connacht Schools Cup with Sligo Grammar School the same year.
