Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineer, University of Wisconsin, 1916. Unmarried.


Chief engineer and superintendent gas. works, Waukesha (Wisconsin) Gas & Electric Company, 1916. Power specialist, Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company, 1917. President and general manager, Curtiss Airplane Company of New England, since 1919.

Director Curtiss Northwest Airplane Company Joined Air Service, United States Army, May 1917. Went abroad, July 1917, training in Italy. Successively chief pilot, adjutant and commanding officer, Camp Ovest, Foggia.

Engineer attached to representative in Italy of Joint Army and Navy Aircraft Board. On Italian Front, June 1918 till close of war, as adjunct of Combat Division. Honorary discharged, December 30, 1918.
