In 2009 he graduated in political science from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław.
He was a marketing expert at the International University of Logistics and Transport In Wrocław and a contributor to Logistyka. Jaki was also part of the Gazeta Polska club in Opole. In 2003 Jaki joined the Law and Justice Youth Forum.
In 2006 and 2010 he was elected to the Opole City Council.
During his second term, Jaki was selected as the chairman of the Law and Justice caucus in the city council. He ran in the 2011 parliamentary elections from the Law and Justice list.
Jaki unsuccessfully contested in the 2014 European Parliament election in Poland from the United Poland list. He was reelected to the Sejm in 2015.
On 18 November 2015 Jaki was appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Justice.
He is the First Deputy Minister of Justice and a Member of the Sejm. He then became an assistant to Member of the European Parliament Ryszard Legutko. He received 8911 votes and was elected as a Member of the Sejm.
He became the spokesman and a board member of United Poland.
