In 2004, she gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Applied Music from Strathclyde University, continuing her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she graduated with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with Specialist Strings Teaching and Procter and Gamble Dip in Violin Performance.
