Career
In 2005, Danan appeared in Celebrity Love Island. On stage, Danan played the part of the Monster in Desires of Frankenstein by James Martin Charlton at the 2002 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In 2005, Danan appeared as a contestant on the first series of Independent Television"s Celebrity Love Island, and returned for the second series in 2006.
That year, he presented a television series entitled Date my Girlfriend on ITV2.
In the show he acts as a modern-day Cupid and dates the girls first. Danan meets the loveless bachelors to discover why they are single, assesses their love requirements and auditions suitable girls all over the United Kingdom to draw up a shortlist of two potential lovers.
In 2011 Danan was living in Royston, Hertfordshire and was regularly seen picking up cigarette butts in the town centre. He enquired about and was turned away from a telesales role in a local call centre in an effort to fuel his lifestyle - he went on to recevie a conviction for drug and public order offences for his conduct.
