Career
He sold his first work in 1950 - an A. Y. Jackson - for $250. Paul Kastel was instrumental in promoting numerous Canadian artists that he represented from the 1950s until his retirement in 2006. He also purchased the estate of sisters Rose Wiselberg and Fanny Wiselberg.
The Gallery closed in 2006.
