Oberscharführer Paul Reissmann was the commander of the 4th Squadron, 17th Steamship Cavalry Regiment, 22nd Volunteer cavalry Division Maria Theresia. He was killed in action on the 8 November 1944 and awarded a posthumous Knight"s Cross on the 16 November 1944.
