The firm was founded in 1929 by Joe H. Kennedy who died in 1984 at the age of 79. Mr. Kennedy was joined in the practice by his son, Joe R. Kennedy, in 1964.
Since that time, the firm"s practice has steadily grown.
Ron Wright joined the firm in 1971, with Weldon Stout joining in 1980. Upon the retirement of Joe R. Kennedy in January, 1992, Baronet Fite joined the successor partnership of Wright, Stout & Fite.
