After graduation from a non-classical high school went to Berlin to continue his studies. Early 1900’s began lit career by contributing to publ Nauchnoye obozreniye, Zhizn, Obrazovaniye and Mir Bozhiy. After graduate university lived in Paris.
1908 returned to Saint St. Petersburg where he became a regular contributor to newspaper Sovremennoye slovo: during World War 1 and Revol did cooperative work. 1922 went to Berlin where he worked for seven years in Sciences and Information Department, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Centr Union of Consumer Social. 1928 dismissed from this post, moved to Paris and became an emigre.
