Education

Pavel Khukhryansky graduated from the Forest Engineering Department of the Moscow Forestry Institute (now Moscow State Forest University) (1926). Since 1926 he worked as an engineer at the Zhukovsky convoy plant in the Kaluga region, the shop manager of the Bryansk Mechanical Plant.

Career

Since 1926 Pavel Khukhryansky worked as an engineer at the Zhukovsky convoy plant in the Kaluga region, the workshop manager of the Bryansk Mechanical Plant. Since 1931, he was an assistant, associate professor of the Bryansk Forestry Engineering Institute. Since 1941, Pavel Khukhryanskywas appointed associate professor, professor, head of the department of forest exploitation (1941-1960), later - head of the department of wood science (1960-1965) and head of the problem laboratory for wood pressing (1962-1965) of the Voronezh Forestry Institute (now Voronezh Forestry Engineering Institute). At the same time during 1944-1954, he was the head of the Department of Building Materials of the Voronezh Civil Engineering Institute.

Achievements

• Pavel Khukhryansky was awarded a large gold (1961) and silver (1963) medals at the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of the USSR.
