Graduated from the Dzerzhinskii Artillery Academy, 1938, and from the Academy of the General Staff, 1941.
Joined the Red Army, 1926. During World War II, held several high positions in the artillery, including Deputy Chief-of-staff of Soviet Artillery. After World War II, Deputy Head of the Dzerzhinskii Artillery Academy, and Deputy Commander of Antiaircraft Forces.
