Career
Born in Ramallo, Buenos Aires. In 1919 Canaveri began his career as president of the Club Atlético Independiente, he was the responsible for the construction of the first stadium of cement in South America. Canaveri was the president of the institution of Avellaneda between (1919), (1922-1933) and (1942-1945).
In 1946 Pedro Canaveri was appointed president of Argentine Football Association, in substitution of Eduardo Ávalos.
He remains in office until 1947. Would later assume the direction Oscar L. Nicolini.
