Peggy Reagan Girard, American Cell biologist, researcher. Achievements include raised first antibodies to an enzyme called protein kinase C which provided a tool for studying the enzyme; research in a possible role for this enzyme in cellular growth and differentiation, in understanding of how vascular cells sense and respond to their mechanical environment.
