Vice-Consul Zaila, Somali Coast, 1893. Berbera, 1894-1895; Consul and Political Agent, Muscat, Arabia, 1899-1904. C.S.1.1909; His (or Her) Majesty’s Consul- ( General for Fars and Khuzistan, and Political Resident in the Persian Gulf since 1904.
