Faith, Percy was born on April 7, 1908 in Toronto, Canada. Son of Abraham and Minnie (Rotenberg) Faith.

Education

Educated Lansdowne Grammar school and Jarvis College School, Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.

Career

Began as pianist in theatre and hotel work. Arranger and conductor for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, 1933-1940. Performed on Music by Faith program, 1937-1940, conductor Carnation radio program, Chicago, 1940, The Pause that Refreshes, The Woolworth Hour.

Eastern musical director Columbia Records Inc., 1957-1960, western music director popular div., 1960-1976.
