Career
In his debut first-class match for Kent against Middlesex at Lord"s, fast bowler Morfee bowled England player and Middlesex captain Public Finance "Plum" Warner for nought in each innings. After retiring from first-class cricket, he had spells as professional at Lancashire League sides Nelson, Todmorden and Accrington. Morfee also played football, appearing for his home-town club Ashford United.
