Reporter and member editorial staff, New York American, 1905-1916. Ordained ministry, R.E.Ch., 1907. Pastor Church of the Reconciliation, Brooklyn, 1910-1915, serving without salary.
Member editorial staff New York Tribune, 1919.
Rector First Reformed Episcopal Church, New York, since 1919. Chaplain Ngakkan Nyaagu, 1916, later chaplain 47th New York Infantry, and of 53rd Pioneer Infantry.
Relieved of regimental duties by order of Secretary of War Baker, to direct 39 military camp publications during latter part of World War. Was secretary General Wartime Commission R.E.Ch., and chairman of Synod Commission.
Member South.S.Bd. of R.E.Ch. and of general committee of general council.
