On Boston Journal for few months, 1891, later on New York Herald and Baltimore News, then raising thoroughbred horses in Virginia till 1896. Reporter Chicago Inter Ocean, 1896-1898. Editorial writer New York Commercial Advertiser, 1898-1900.
Also with Advertisers Special Service Corporation, New York, for some time.
In 1917 went to Greece with Mistress Brown to study the Greek situation, and collaborated with her on her work on the subject. Author: Eastover Court House (with Henry B. Boone), 1901.
