Director Mark Morris Dance Group since 1980. Director of Dance, Theatre Royal de la Monnaie since 1988. Performed with various dance companies including Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Hannah Kahn Dance Company, Laura Dean Dancers and Musicians, Eliot Feld Ballet and Koleda Balkan Dance Ensemble.
Created over 50 works for own modem dance company including Mythologies 1986, L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato 1988, Dido and Aeneas 1989, Nutcracker 1991.
