Yuri Sydorenko was born on August 13, 1961 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast in a family of doctors.

During his lifetime he graduated the Kiev Technological Institute of Food Technologies as a processing engineer and the Kiev National Economy Institute of Korotchenko as an engineering economist.
He became nationally renowned for creating and promoting the national industry of security printing, manufacture of identification documents and information systems He is a Master of Sports of the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics. In 1983-1985 Sydorenko served in the Soviet Army as part of signal communication forces. In 1985 Sydorenko joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and became employed in the sector of a food industry where he worked until 1989.
In 1989 he founded the Trustcor Holding Incorporated that with time became operational in dozens various countries.
In 2000 Sydorenko obtained an advisory position at the company Holography Limited. and later in 2004 he was elected as a chairman to the advisory board of EDAPS Consortium. Since 2010 Sydorenko is an owner of the Commercial Industrial Bank (headquartered in Kiev) through the Trustkor Holding Incorporated and its three subsidiaries: Agro-Dubl, Inko-Fort and Ferotrans.
