Career
Schley began his career with Nordstern in 1951 before moving to Football Club in 1952. In 1953 he signed for Grasshopper Club, but returned to Football Club after just one season. Then, in 1958, he signed for Football Club and retired in 1965.
He earned three caps for the Swiss national team, making his international debut in a 5-1 defeat to Yugoslavia on 25 April 1959 in.
He also coached Grasshopper, Football Club Luzern and Football Club Winterthur.
