Vladimir Petrovich Voronkov was a Soviet/Russian cross-country skier who competed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, training at the Armed Forces sports society in Moscow.
Career
Voronkov also finished 4th in the 30 km event at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble.
Achievements
He won the 4 x 10 km gold at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo for the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics. He also won a gold medal at the 1970 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the 4 x 10 km relay.
