Career
He is 2.08 m (6"10") tall. He can play at either the power forward or center positions, with his main position being center. Kottas began playing basketball with the youth teams of Australian Psychological Society Ajax Amynteo.
He then transferred to play with the youth teams of PAOK Thessaloniki in the summer of 2011.
After playing with the junior teams of PAOK Thessaloniki, Kottas began his professional career in 2013, with the senior men"s team of PAOK.
With Greece"s junior national teams, he played at the 2012 International Basketball Federation Europe Under-16 Championship, and both the 2013 and 2014 International Basketball Federation Europe Under-18 Championships. He also played at the 2015 International Basketball Federation Under-19 World Championship and the 2015 International Basketball Federation Europe Under-20 Championship.
