Career
Hogan was a left arm spinner who played in seven Tests and 16 One Day Internationals for Australia in 1983 and 1984. On his debut, he took five wickets in the second innings against Sri Lanka it Kandy in 1983. In 1984, he was selected for Australian tours of the West Indies and India.
After being left out of the Australian team, Hogan joined the Australian rebel tours to South Africa for two seasons (1985/86 and 1986/87) before returning to play for Western Australia until 1990.
