McGregor was born in London, Ontario and lists his hometown as Forest, Ontario.

Career

He had his right leg amputated due to spindle cell sarcoma. He began playing sledge hockey in 2011. Previously he played able-bodied American Automobile Association hockey.

Achievements

  • McGregor won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships in Goyang, of Korea, and a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia.
