Her credits include The Rat Patrol, I Spy and Flipper, as well as a couple of guest appearances on the 1960s sitcom Hogan"s Heroes. In 1960, she was elected to the first Mälardrottningen in Stockholm. She had one son, Jonathan Strömstedt Cole.
In 1986, Strömstedt died in Cannes, France.
