Career
Teagle, a 6"5" shooting guard from Baylor University, was selected 16th overall in the 1982 National Basketball Association Draft by the Houston Rockets. He lasted two seasons in Houston (1982-1984), before moving on to play with the Detroit Pistons (1984-1985), Golden State Warriors (1984-1990), and Los Angeles Lakers (1990-1992), before returning to the Rockets to play two games in April 1993. He played in 732 games in the National Basketball Association (regular season and playoffs combined), with career averages of 11.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.
During the 1992-1993 season, Teagle signed a one-year contract with Benetton Treviso of the Italian league and he reached the Euroleague Final with the club, playing alongside Toni Kukoč, while averaging 19.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game during Euroleague play.
Treviso eventually lost in the Euroleague Final to Limoges, by a score of 59-55, with Teagle scoring 19 points and grabbing 4 rebounds.
