On 11 January 2016, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 107. On July 13, 2015, she peaked at world number 216 in the doubles rankings. 2012 Crawford received a wildcard into the 2012 United States Open – Women"s Qualifying.
She got to the qualifying competition with wins over Irina Khromacheva and Marie-Ève Pelletier.
She played Eleni Daniilidou for a spot in the main draw, winning in three sets. In her first women"s grand slam main draw appearance, Crawford lost to fellow teenager Laura Robson.
2015 In 2015, Crawford earned a wild card into the 2015 United States Open by winning the United States Open Wild Card Challenge, a three-week series of hard-court events played out on the USTA Pro Circuit. 2016 At the 2016 Brisbane International, Crawford caused an upset by defeating top-15 player Belinda Bencic in the second round.
