He is best known for having co-written The Weinstein Company"s animated film Escape from Planet Earth (2013). He co-wrote the screenplay for Escape from Planet Earth released to theaters February 15, 2013. The cast of Escape includes Ricky Gervais, Rob Corddry, Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, William Shatner, Craig Robinson, George Lopez, Jane Lynch, Sofía Vergara, Jonathan Morgan Heit and Steve Zahn.
Escape was the #1 film at the North American box office on President"s Day, February 18, 2013.
As of April 23, 2013 Escape From Planet Earth has grossed $54,867,461 at the domestic box office and is now the highest-grossing animated film ever released by The Weinstein Company.
