Who played Prithviraj Chauhan in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan and Emperor Akbar in Jodha Akbar. Tokas started his television career with show Bongo as Ashu. Then he played the role of Tantya in Sai Baba He played the role of young Prithviraj Chauhan in the series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan.
In 2010, Tokas was selected by Ekta Kapoor to play the parallel lead in Tere Liye where he played the character of Robindo Ganguly.
Later, he did episodic roles in Bandini and Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein
Currently he is playing the role of kabir(Icchadhari Nevla) in Naagin, a television serial airing on Colors television

In 2012, he was once again selected by Kapoor to reprise the role of Emperor Akbar in her soap opera, Jodha Akbar for which he went to won BIG Star Most Entertaining Actor - Male, Star Guild Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series, Boroplus Gold Award for Best Actor in Lead Role (Critics), Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Lead Role.
