Raphael Miranda is a meteorologist and weather producer at W National Broadcasting Company in New York City.
Background
Miranda was born in Bedford Hills, New York and graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, with a Concentration in Latin American Literature, and a Bachelor of Surgery degree in Broadcast Journalism from Brooklyn College.
Career
Miranda serves as a weatherman for Weekend Today in New York, a primary fill-in meteorogist for the weekday newscasts and serves as the host of the Megaphone Interactive Trivia of Saturday Today in New New York Additionally, he earned a Geosciences/Meteorology degree from Mississippi State University. Raphael started as a weather intern at W National Broadcasting Company in 2007.
Since then he has appeared on National and Local networks like Microsoft and National Broadcasting Company, Consumer News and Business Channel World, News 12 Westchester and now-defunct National Broadcasting Company Weather Plus.
He was also an occasional meteorologist for Early Today until Weather Plus shut down in December 2008. Since 2009, he serves as weatherman of Weekend Today in New York, following the departure of SallyAnn Mosey in 2008 and he also serves as a host of the MegaPhone Interactive Trivia from 2014 onwards since Kaitlin Monte left for WPIX as a traffic reporter for the morning newscast in June of that year.

He is a member of organizations including American Mathematical Society, National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA) and National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), and he holds the NWA seal of approval.
