He is best remembered as the designer of the İzmir Clock Tower, the landmark of İzmir situated in the city"s Konak Square. They had ten children named Ferdinand, Pierre, Charles, Henriette, Bernard, François, Marie, Michel, Joseph and Louis. Raymond Charles Péré died on October 15, 1929 in İzmir.
