Career
Walls would play for the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also played one season in Japan in 1965 for the Hankyu Braves. After his playing career, he managed teams in the minor leagues.
In 1956, his rookie year, he hit.274 with 11 home runs and 54 Reserve Bank of India. On July 2, 1957, Walls hit for the cycle.
